Model mobile phone exposure and perception of safety in the public

The authors review the issue of health effects and mobile phones. They conclude that absolute proof of "no harm" from any agent under study is impossible. In addition, the natural variation and non-linear nature of living things makes any "exact replication" difficult (if not impossible). Because of these two issues, "conclusive" proof showing mobile phone RF exposure poses no risk on health is difficult, and the general public (with a desire for conclusive proof) can maintain a level of concern unless the issue is placed in the appropriate context.
